Fabrication Services

The entire design work moves to fabrication at some stage of the project. It is a complex task to keep all things in place without a proper structure.
 

A Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a hierarchical structure of things that the project will make or outcomes that it will deliver.
 

The team at ROY Engineering is capable of creating the WBS for the fabrication project.
 

Every discipline work is broken down to the last level and the WBS is created from where the project team starts to measure progress, cost, resource requirement, logistics etc.
 

For example, a structural design drawing is converted into a TEKLA / BOCAD model and fabrication drawing showing the weld detail is extracted for further planning. Each fabrication drawing is then released to shop for planning the material, preparation, cutting, fabrication and testing.
 

A design isometric is converted into a fabrication spool drawing and further dossier preparation is progressed. These spool drawings are monitored in the 3D system to ensure that the entire project is covered for fabrication and if any installation issues arise during erection.
 

This is done by defining the interdependencies on other in the model.
